Kyoshi Terry Gravelin is the chief instructor and owner of American Martial Arts Institute
Kyoshi Gravelin holds a 7th degree black belt in Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate, a 5th degree black belt in Ryukyu Kobudo Weaponry, as well as a 3rd degree black belt in Jujitsu. He recieved the title of "Kyoshi," meaning teacher of teachers, in 2000. He has been studying karate in the United States and Japan (Okinawa) for over 25 years, and teaching professionally for 20. He is also a student of ChiYui Judo and Yoshinkai Aikido.
